YIEH HSING devoted to maintain human rights principles of national employment opportunities,
when employing employees, fully according to professional ability and experiences,
giving different considerations, we never employ child labor from establishment of the Company,
when employing employees in 2023, circumstances of human rights violation or discrimination events never occur,
and we fully follow relevant regulations of "Labor Standards Act", "Employment Service Act" and
"Act of Gender Equality in Employment".
Except local regulations, the Company supports and follows all internationally recognized bill and
guidelines of human rights, such as "Universal Declaration of Human Rights",
The "United Nations Global Compact" and "ILO Convention", etc., and establishes spirits of fairly,
reasonably and friendly treating and respecting all staff, the implementation methods are as follows:

Employee Overview
As of December 31, 2023, Yieh Hsing employs a total of 446 people.
This includes 423 regular employees (373 male and 50 female) and 23 temporary employees (representing 5.16% of the total workforce,
all male and foreign). Among them, there are 5 employees with disabilities,
accounting for 1.1% of the total workforce. Due to the nature of the steel industry,
there is a significant gender disparity among employees, with a male-to-female ratio of approximately 8:1.
The average age of regular employees is 44.6 years, and the average length of service is 15.1 years.

Distribution of Employees' Educational Background
Yieh Hsing effectively utilizes resources from E United Group to enhance media exposure and actively participates
in various recruitment activities to attract more outstanding talents to join Yieh Hsing.
Employees with a university degree or higher (including master's degrees) total 174,
accounting for 41.13% of the overall employee count; among them, there are 33 employees with master's degrees,
indicating a trend towards higher educational qualifications.
The educational background distribution of managerial personnel shows a stable state.
Senior managers primarily have a university education, middle managers have a distribution of university and high school education,
non-managerial personnel and technical staff primarily have a university education, and junior personnel primarily have a high school education.
In addition to hiring outstanding talent from domestic universities and colleges,
the Company also encourages employees to pursue further education and enhance their professional skills.
In addition to choosing to study at well-known domestic universities,
colleagues are also encouraged to pursue a master's degree at I-Shou University with pay, leveraging the group's resources.
Distribution of employee residential areas
Yieh Hsing operates two facilities: the Gangshan Plant in Baimi Village, Gangshan District, Kaohsiung City,
and the Pingnan Plant in Pingnan Industrial Zone, Pingtung County.
The Company is committed to localized operations and creating job opportunities by predominantly hiring domestic employees.
In terms of residential areas, 99.5% reside in the southern region, primarily in Kaohsiung City with a total of 304 people,
accounting for 71.9% of the total employees; followed by Pingtung County/City with a total of 110 people,
accounting for 26% of the total employees; Tainan City has 7 people, accounting for 1.7% of the total employees;
Taipei City has 1 person, accounting for 0.2% of the total employees; New Taipei City has 1 person, accounting for 0.2% of the total employees.
Yieh Hsing recruits new employees irregularly based on operational needs. In 2023,
a total of 32 new employees were hired (28 males and 4 females).
By job category, there were 0 senior managers, 8 mid-level professionals, and 24 staff-level employees.
In terms of age, 17 were aged 20-29, 5 were aged 30-39, 8 were aged 40-49, and 2 were over 50.
Geographically, 19 resided in Kaohsiung, 11 in Pingtung, 1 in Tainan, and 1 in New Taipei.
To support the government's investment in Kaohsiung and attract talent to relocate or return to their hometowns,
the E United Group's production sector, under the leadership of founder Mr. LIN, I-SHOU,
has set a starting salary of over NT$30,000 for new hires, excluding allowances and overtime pay.
This salary level, which far exceeds the statutory minimum wage, has been implemented since July 2018.
Training hour
In 2023, 241 courses were conducted, with a total training duration of 5,081 hours and

Remuneration System
Yieh Hsing's compensation package includes base salary (which covers basic pay, supervisor allowances,
meal allowances, and various other allowances), production and sales bonuses, year-end bonuses,
performance bonuses, and incentive bonuses.
Yieh Hsing determines salaries based on employees' years of service, professional skills,
job responsibilities, performance, and the Company's operational goals. For the same job category,
the compensation for basic-level employees is identical upon hiring.
For those with relevant expertise and work experience has their remuneration determined based on education,
expertise, and certifications, without any discrimination based on gender, race, political affiliation,
ideology, religion, sexual orientation, or marital status.
Among employees in the same positions and ranks,
the ratio of basic salary and remuneration of women to men is 1:1.

In 2023, the average salary for full-time, non-managerial employees was NT$625 thousand,
and the median salary was NT$588 thousand. The average salary decreased by 4% compared to 2022,
primarily due to the retirement of senior employees who had longer tenure and higher salaries than newer hires,
resulting in a relative decrease in the Company's overall average salary.

Retirement Policy:
- The new system of the Labor Pension Act applies to all employees who take their office on (including) July 1, 2005.
- For those employees who adopted the old system of the Labor Standards Act, the service years before July 31, 1984, will be applied to the regulations in the Factory Workers Retirement Rules, while the service years after August 1, 1984, will be applied to the Labor Standards Act.
Health Check
Yieh Hsing has been cooperated with E-da Hospital and Da-chang Hospital of the E-Da Healthcare Group to
take care of employee's healthcare for many years. The company holds employee health check that is better than
regulatory requirements every year, including general health check and special operation health check,
to provide a health working environment.
Top 10 items with abnormal value for most employees will be used for
health improvement guideline next year to assist employee to implement self care management.
The total expense of employee health check in 2023 was more than NT$ 2.08 million dollars,
including regular health check, welfare committee health check plan, and E-da health care management service.
Employee dependents can also sign up for health check at their own expense with employee discount price.

Follow up on Individual Case after Health Check
For employees to have timely medical treatment on health check result, the Health Check Center has a notification system that could contact employees as soon as there is anything abnormal that require medical attention, so they could have early diagnosis and treatment and follow up afterwards. -
Special Operation Health Care
Health care result will be divided by grades. In accordance with Article 19 of Employee Health Protection Regulation, occupational doctor on-site will perform individual hearing health guidance. -

E-da Healthcare Group takes care of health management service, including on-site service once a month, telephone caring, health counselling, and assistance for occupational injury. -
