¢m Social Participation - Providing Employment Opportunities to Local Residents
Currently, many regions face the issue of a high percentage of elderly population,
primarily due to the migration of younger populations. To address this situation,
Yieh Hsing provides employment opportunities for young people to encourage them to stay in the local area.
By the end of 2023, Yieh Hsing had hired a total of 189 local workers from the neighborhoods around the Gangshan Plant,
accounting for 61.76% of the total workforce at the Gangshan Plant (excluding contract employees).
Despite these efforts, many young people still choose to move north for work. To show social care,
prioritize local seniors, and strengthen community connections,
Yieh Hsing donates an average of NT$20,000 per month to nearby community development associations to
organize various festive community activities,
promoting interactions among neighbors and ensuring that elderly individuals in the community do not feel isolated.

¢m Winter Beach Cleanup Activities
On October 22, 2023, the Pingtung County Government held the "Bring Back Ocean Waste,
Benefit from the Catch" results presentation and winter beach clean-up event at the Zhenhai Park in Donggang Township.
As local businesses committed to maintaining the cleanliness of this beautiful ocean,
Yieh Hsing actively participated in this public welfare event.
The Company mobilized employees and their families from the Pingnan Plant to join
in the beach cleanup effort and contribute to the cause.

¢m Donations for the Sep. 22 Fire and Explosion Disaster
In response to the tragic Ming Yang Fire at the Pingtung Science Park,
which resulted in numerous casualties and the death of four firefighters,
Yieh Hsing, guided by humanitarian concerns and a commitment to social responsibility,
donated NT$2 million. This donation was allocated to support the families of the fallen and severely injured firefighters,
with the remaining funds designated for use by a special account set up by the Pingtung County Government.

¢m Beach and River Cleanup Activities by the Water Environment Patrol Team
On November 15, 2023, the Kaohsiung Environmental Protection Bureau organized a "Water Environment Patrol Team Beach and
Stream Cleanup Event" at the south side of Dianbao Creek (Xinghong Bridge).
Yieh Hsing, Yieh Phui, Shin Yang, and Chung Hung employees participated in the event,
focusing on clearing waste along the south side of Xinghong Bridge.
The goal was to inspire more people to pay attention to river and
waterway environments through the hands-on efforts of the Water Environment Patrol Team.
Most importantly, the patrol team not only carries out river monitoring work but also aims to
share their patrol experiences and ecological knowledge, working together to protect the rivers.

¢m Sun Far x Kaohsiung City Charity Run
Answering to the "For the Next Generation, Run for a New Future" charity run organized by
